Leon A. Landry, Jr.
PORT ALLEGANY- Leon A. Landry, Jr., 50, of Pearl St., passed away Sunday (Apr. 4, 2021) at his residence.
Born October 15, 1970, in Nashua, NH, he was a son of Leon A. and Doreen Gray Landry.
Leon was a graduate of Medfield High School, MA, and Alfred State University.
He was a veteran having served with the US Marine Corp. during the Persian Gulf War.
He was a self-employed heating & air conditioning contractor before having to retire.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas A. Landry of Port Allegany, Robert M. Landry of Spangahlem Air Force Base, Germany; a daughter, Hannah L. Landry of York, PA; a granddaughter, two brothers, Paul Landry of Imperial, PA, Christopher (Christine) Landry of Haverhill, MA; three sisters, Lisa L. Landry of Pennsylvania, Angela (Jeff) Evans of Laton, UT, and Danielle (Micheal) Estrella of Stratford NH; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, Michelle White Landry, and a brother, Matthew Landry.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Sunday (Jun. 27, 2021) form 1-3p.m. in the Veteran's Memorial Home, Port Allegany, where at 3 p.m. the Port Allegany Honor Guard will conduct a military service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany.
