Lena E. “Peachy” Bidwell
PORT ALLEGANY - Lena E. “Peachy” Bidwell, 75, of Broad St., passed away Monday (Dec. 12, 2011) in the Charles Cole Mem. Hospital Coudersport.
Born January 4, 1936, in Coudersport, PA, she was a daughter of Jesse R. and Annabel Mahon Campbell.
Lena worked several years for Ball Foster Container Co. (now St. Gobain Container Co.) of Port Allegany, before her retirement.
She was a lifetime resident of the area and attended Austin High School.
She is survived by three daughters, Cheryl J. (William) Robinson and Pamela J. Olmstead both of Port Allegany, and Jodi A. Stennett of Williamsport, PA; a son, Herman “Curly” (Jan) Rennells of Port Allegany; five grandchildren: Michael (Jennifer) Taylor, Mark (Corrie) Taylor, Jesse Gorg, Brian (Rachael) Olmstead, and Karmella Rennells; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jesse R. Campbell, a grandson, Joseph Rennells; and two great-grandsons, Jesse Colt Taylor and Wade Lee Kio.
There will be no visitation. Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Forrest Hill Cemetery, Austin, PA.
Memorials can be made to the Port Area Ambulance Service or Potter County Hospice, Coudersport.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
