Laura M. COVERT

Laura M. COVERT, 75, of Port Allegany, PA, died Friday, March 14, 2025 in Lakeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Smethport. 

Born January 25, 1950, she was the daughter of Warren H. and Anna Hendrickson Dickinson. On April 5, 1991, she married William Harold Covert, Jr., who predeceased her on September 9, 2011. A 1968 graduate of Smethport Area High School, she was employed by PC Systems and Market Basket in Port Allegany. Laura was a member of Ridgway Alliance Church. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. 

Surviving are: three children, Daniel J. (Elizabeth) Miller of Ridgway, Carrie (Michael) Parker of Courtland, VA, and Barbara (Tim) Haggard of Port Allegany; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, John P. Dickinson; and three sisters, Donna K. Viglione, Barbara A. Stokes, and Sally J. Gates. 

Private burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Farmers Valley. A gathering to celebrate Laura’s life will be held on a later date.
