Kathleen EMPSON

Kathleen EMPSON, 87, of Selinsgrove, PA, died Friday, June 15, 2012 in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. Born January 12, 1925, in Bingham Township, PA, she was the daughter of Jacob W. and Emma Viola Hamilton Empson. She was a longtime resident of Selinsgrove Center. She loved cats, music, and Disney characters. Surviving are: three brothers, Richard (Shirley) Empson of Mt. Joy, PA, Randall (Edith) Empson of North Bingham, PA, and Ralph (Betty) Empson of Andover, NY; two sisters, Mary (Don) Jordan of Lehigh Acres, FL and Sylvia Williams of Painted Post, NY; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a four brothers, Howard, Harold, Martin, and Rudolph; and four sisters, Betty Dates, Louise Palyun, Harlene Lindenmuth, and Marjorie Gray. Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon, with Funeral Services following at 12:00 Noon. The Rev. Paul M. Karges will officiate. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
