June F. GRAY, 93, of Ulysses, PA, died Thursday, February 23, 2023 in her home.
Born June 29, 1929, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Henry Jacob and Violet June Lambert Fox. She was married to Wilbur L. Gray, who predeceased her on August 28, 1991. June was employed in the cafeteria by the Northern Potter School District for 25 years. She was a 40-year member of the First Baptist Church of Ulysses, current member of the Gold Church, Tri-Town Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary, Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees, Ulysses Library volunteer, and served as a Potter County Hospice volunteer for 25 years. June was honored as Ulysses Citizen of the Year.
Surviving are: five children, Robert L. (Joann) Gray of Camp Hill, John A. (Mary) Gray of Hornell, NY, Wilbur H. (Sue) Gray of Middletown, Darlene Thompson of Ulysses, and Sandra (Hal) Dibble of Westfield; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald H. Fox of New Stanton; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, Joshua Dibble.
Friends may call at Gold Church, 2402 SR 49 W, Ulysses, PA on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 4:00 – 5:00 PM, with a Memorial Service following at 5:00 PM. Rev. Cameron Cowburn will officiate. Burial will be in Mills Cemetery.
