Joyce Y. STEVENS, 82, of Galeton, PA, died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in the Green Home, Wellsboro.
Born February 27, 1937, in Wellsville, NY, she was the daughter of John V. and Junita Fabeanna Santarella Carlin.
On July 10, 1954, in Sunderlinville, she married Ray C. Stevens, who predeceased her on August 12, 2014.
She was employed by Galeton Production, Truck-lite in Wellsboro, and Galeton Foodland.
Joyce was a member of God's New Beginnings Church in Harrison Valley.
Surviving are: a son, Darwin (Hope) Stevens of Sabinsville; five grandchildren, Tracey J. (Kezia) Stevens, Nicole Gill, Lucinda (Clayton) Duell, Amanda Stevens, and Nathan (Loria) Stevens; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Mark (Patti) Carlin of Aberdeen, WA and Anthony (Lynn) Carlin of Nelson; two sisters, Patricia Arndt of Aberdeen, WA and Lorena Wyatt of Nelson; nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Allen R. Stevens, on December 16, 2008; a brother, Cecil Carlin; and a sister, Pauline Clark.
Friends may call at Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, with Funeral Services following at 11:00 AM. The Rev. David R. Brelo will officiate. Burial will be in Parker Hill Cemetery.
