Joseph A. Dugan
COUDERPSORT-Joseph A. Dugan, 62, of Old Shovel Rd., passed away Thursday (Dec. 22, 2016) in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA.
Born August 11, 1954, in Port Allegany, he was a son of Richard D. and Marlene L. Fuller Dugan. On Oct. 31, 1996, in Perryton, TX, he married Jackie L. Sprague, who survives.
Joe was a longtime resident of the area and attended the Port Allegany High School. He was a former member of the Roulette Fire Department.
Mr. Dugan had been employed in several manufacturing jobs, the two most recent being: Phillips Petroleum and CRS of Perryton, TX, before having to retire.
Surviving in addition to his mother Marlene Dugan of Eldred, and his wife, Jackie, are two sons. Joseph A. (Renee) Dugan of Barnesville, GA, T.J. (Cheryl) Dugan of Newport, VA; and a stepson, Chris M. (Vicki) Estes of Houston, TX; a daughter, Tanner L. (James) Bosworth of Kyle, TX; seven grandchildren, and a brother, Richard W. Dugan of Roulette.
He was preceded in death by his father, a granddaughter, and sister-in-law, Jane S. Dugan.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 7, 2017) in the Roulette Fire Hall, with Rev. Joann Piatko, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Smethport, officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
