John A. Riale
PORT ALLEGANY- John A. Riale, 77, of N. Main St., passed away Friday (Sept. 7, 2012) in his home, after a brief illness, with his family at his side.
Born November 25, 1934, in Austin, PA, he was a son of John A. and Eloise Mahon Riale.  On May 4, 1957, in Port Allegany, he married Beverly J. Turner, who died Nov. 29, 2011. They were married 55 years.
He was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of Austin High School, Class of 1952.
Mr. Riale was supervisor of production scheduling at Ball-Foster Co. of Port Allegany, retiring in 2000 after 40 years of service.
He was a veteran having served in the US Army.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Port Allegany, where he was a church usher.
He was a founding member of the Pierce Federal Credit Union, Port Allegany.  He was an avid gardener and also enjoyed and loved his family and grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Randy J. (Lorrie) Riale of Port Allegany, Todd M. (Lynn) Riale of Pittsburgh; twin daughters, Karen L. (Jeff) Bricker and Sharon L. (Marty) Rosenswie both of Port Allegany; eleven grandchildren: Abbie and Brock Bricker, Josh Rosenswie, Lacey & Stella Riale, Zane, Luke & Wyatt Travis, Adrienne Kelligan, Mike & Kenny Johnson, a great-grandson, Joshua M. Hardes; a sister, Mary L. Haskins of Austin,; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Beverly.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday (Sept. 10, 2012) in the United Methodist Church, with Rev. Randall Headley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany.
A military service will be conducted by the Port Allegany Honor Guard immediately following the funeral service at the church.
Memorials can be made to the United Methodist Church, Port Area Ambulance Service, or Potter County VNA Hospice.
