John K. McNEELY

John K. McNEELY, 61, of Genesee, PA, died Monday, February 2, 2015 in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Born December 5, 1953, in Rochester, PA, he was the son of John William and Nancy Louise Wade McNeely. On August 16, 1980, in Richford, NY, he married the former Deborah A. Gleason, who survives. He was employed by Genesee Hardware since 1987. Surviving besides his wife, Deborah, are: a daughter, Heather (Christopher) Sharp of New Florence, PA; a son, Christopher (Melinda) McNeely of Mansfield, PA; adopted son, Joe Soos of Elmira, NY; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Russell (Renee) McNeely of Genesee; mother-in-law, Barbara Gleason of Richford, NY; two sisters-in-law, Claudia (Dale) Steadman of Genesee and Cathy McNeely of Westfield; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, David McNeely; two brothers, Donald L. McNeely and Ronald W. McNeely; and his father-in-law, James Gleason. Friends may call Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM.
