Jean E. GRIDLEY, 92, formerly of Westfield, PA and Charlotte, NC, died Thursday, June 1, 2017 in Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA.
Born March 18, 1925, in Batavia, NY, she was the daughter of Giles and Mabel Andrews Thomas.
She was married to Wilson A. Gridley, who predeceased her on Mary 27, 2010.

ean and Wilson owned and operated the Valley Dollar Saver in Westfield for many years, retiring in 1986.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Westfield and Church of the Good Shepherd in Davidson, NC. Jean sang in the choir at St. John's and in a barbershop quartet with Louise Cevette, Sue Hall, and Barbara J. Olney for many years. A gifted artist, her many paintings were shared with family and friends.
Surviving are: a son, Wilson "Bill" (Tonda) Gridley of Charlotte; two daughters, Sandra (Edward) DiPrima of Rochester, NY and Nicole "Nikki" (Walter) Watson of San Luis Obispo, CA; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; and nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 15, 2017 in St. John's Episcopal Church, Westfield, PA. The Rev. Dr. Joseph F. McNamara will preside. A luncheon will follow the service. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Austinburg, PA.
