Jay I. McGee, Jr.
ROULETTE- Jay I. McGee, Jr., 60, of Burleson Ave., passed away Tuesday (Jan. 26, 2016) at his residence.
Born April 8, 1955, he was a son of Jay I. and Lorraine Henry McGee. On June 3, 1983, in Roulette, he married Julie K. Stuckey, who survives.
Jay was employed by Penn DOT as an inspector, retiring in 2006, after 26 years of service.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of the Port Allegany High School, Class of 1973.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, motorcycling, and his Labrador Retreivers.
Surviving in addition to his father, and wife Julie, are a son, Jason J. (Apryl Tubbs) McGee, of Wellsboro, PA; two daughters, Amanda J. (Terry Drake) McGee Edler of Wellsboro, and Jaden H. McGee of Felto, PA; eight grandchildren, Brie Edler, Rylee and Oliva Snowburg, Dryden and Jayce McGee, Rennie Tubbs, Emileigh and Kaitlyn Drake; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Friends will be received from 12-2 p.m. Saturday (Mar. 19, 2016) in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Randall Headley, pastor of the Riverside Methodist Church, Roulette, officiating.
Memorials can be made to the Potter County Hospice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
