Janice J. DAVIS

Janice J. DAVIS, 76, of Galeton, PA, died Sunday, August 17, 2014 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. Born October 20, 1937, in Galeton, she was the daughter of Earl and Lottie Surdam LaBar. On August 18, 1999, in Sweden Valley, PA, she married Norman L. Davis, who survives. Janice was employed by Gaines Tackle Company for many years. She was a member of the Coudersport Seventh-day Adventist Church. Surviving are: her husband, Norman; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and a sister. Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 2:00 PM. Pastor Lynn Edwin Gatz will officiate. Burial will be in Parker Hill Cemetery, Sunderlinville, PA. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
