Jane F. KNICKERBOCKER, 71, of Genesee, PA, died Friday, May 10, 2013 in her home. Born October 15, 1941, Montour Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Francis B. and Harriet Elizabeth Decker Riley. She was employed by Cooper-Slide in Genesee, Olean Times Herald, Galeton Production, Reed's Market in Genesee, and Giant in Wellsville, NY. Jane was a member of the Genesee Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, served as a girl scout leader, and was Genesee youth baseball's biggest fan. Surviving are: her husband, Leslie E. Knickerbocker; two sons, Willis (Kelly) Haring of Roulette, PA and Matthew (Becky) Haring of VA; a daughter, Lori (Kevin) Pierce of Scio, NY; three stepsons, Randy (Esther) Knickerbocker and Scott (April) Knickerbocker, both of Elkland, PA, and Steven (Angie) Knickerbocker of SC; two stepdaughters, Roxanne (Tim) Huntley and Leslie Knickerbocker, both of Elkland; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, James F. (Nancy) Riley of Apalachin, NY; a sister, June Alice (Charles) VanOrden of Cottonwood, CA; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a three grandsons, Chase William Haring, Ty Pierce, and Larry Knickerbocker, Jr.; an infant brother, Francis B. Riley, Jr. Friends may call Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Rev. Mel Ternes will officiate. Burial will be in Genesee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Genesee Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary, Genesee, PA 16923.
