James L. Tucker
COUDERPSORT- James L. Tucker, 64, of Avenue B, passed away Wednesday (Oct. 10, 2018) in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.
Born October 24, 1953, in Coudersport, he was a son of James L. and Flora Eggleton Tucker.
Mr. Tucker was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of Port Allegany High School, class of 1971.
He attended the Coudersport Alliance Church.
James was a self-employed forester consultant and owned flagstone quarries. He was also a certified welder and inspector.
Surviving are two sons, James L. (Amber) Tucker of Bradford, Nathan T. Tucker of Florida; two daughters, Melanie M. (Jason) Bishop of Port Allegany, and Ashley M. (Kris) Gledhill of Austin, PA; 7 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mary A. Denhoff of Couderpsort, and Linda L. (Jim) Ayers of Roulette; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sharon L. Ludwig.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m. Saturday in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, where a funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. with Rev. Bernie Knefley officiating. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery, Roulette.
Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
