James L. SHUTT, 71, of Genesee, PA, died Friday, June 3, 2016 in his home.
Born June 9, 1944, in Elmer, PA, he was the son of Frank J. and Alice Ahearn Shutt.
On September 4, 1965, in Mills, PA, he married the former Eva M. Stocum, who survives.
He was employed by Air Preheater in Wellsvile for 37 years. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, car shows, and metal detecting.
Surviving besides his wife, Eva, are: three children, Alice M. Barber of Ulysses, Larry (Jean) Shutt of Genesee, and Theresa (William, Jr.) Coyle of Genesee; five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; three brothers, Howard (Anne) Shutt of Lawrenceville, PA, Henry Shutt of Lawrenceville, PA, and William D. Shutt, Sr. of Genesee; three sisters, Betty (Francis) Sturdevant of Shinglehouse, Angie (Melvin) Finke of Shinglehouse, Jennie (Paul) Urbaniak of Lawrenceville; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Larry E. Barber; a grandson, Russell E. Barber; and four brothers, Leo, Virgle, Lewis, and Charles.
A private graveside service will be held in North Bingham Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
