ILLA IRENE CARPENTER

ILLA IRENE CARPENTER, 81, of Avon Park, FL, a native of Sunderlinville and Galeton, PA, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Sebring, FL. Born February 28, 1932, in Galeton, she was the daughter of Claude and Edith Wooley Dunham. A resident of Avon Park since 1992, she previously resided in New Jersey. She was a homemaker and an active member of the Whispering Pines Baptist Church. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are: her husband, John B. Carpenter; a daughter, Karen; four sons, John, Jr., Terry, Christopher, and Scott; 12 grandchildren; and a brother, James Dunham. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in the Whispering Pines Baptist Church, Sebring, FL.
