Hunter K. Conway, Sr.
PORT ALLEGANY, PA- Hunter K. Conway, Sr., passed away Saturday (Feb. 26, 2011) in Sena Kean Manor, Smethport.
Born November 1, 1928, he was a son of Clyde M. and Daisy Mae Bruce Conway. In 1964, in Laurel, DE, he married Patricia Waller, who died Jan. 30, 2003.
Mr. Conway was a veteran having served with the US Navy.
He had been employed with different industrial floor cleaning and janitorial companies before his retirement.
He had been a resident of the area since 2001, coming from Delaware.
Surviving are a son, Hunter K. (Tammy) Conway, Jr. of Port Allegany, a stepson, Ralph (Darlene) Condon of Seaford, DE; 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grand-children; six brothers, and five sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia, and a brother, Clyde Conway, Jr.,
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Friday (Mar. 11, 2011) at 2 p.m. in the Seaford Christian Church, Seaford, DE.
Memorials can be made to Sena Kean Manor Activities Fund or Port Area Ambulance Service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
