Herbert H. Caldwell
BRADFORD- Herbert H. Caldwell, 82, of Spring St., passed away Monday (Dec. 31, 2012) in the Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Born June 1, 1930, in Coudersport, PA, he was a son of William T. and Ruby Fish Caldwell.
Mr. Caldwell had moved to the area recently, coming from Las Vegas, NV.
He was a Vice President of Global Van Lines for over 20 years, and before retirement was President and General Manager of Las Vegas Storage and Transfer Company.
He was a veteran having served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict, and reached the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He was a member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and many associations related to the transportation and storage industry.
Surviving are a brother, Ralph (Margaret) Caldwell of Shinglehouse; and a sister, Helen C. Walters of Bradford; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ernest (Grace) Caldwell, Charles (Kay) Caldwell, William (Evelyn) Caldwell, James (Mary) Caldwell, John (Joyce) Caldwell and a sister Geneva (William) Runyan.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at Mr. Caldwell’s request.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
