ROULETTE- Henry V. “Yogi” Hatcher, 67, of Main St., Passed away Sunday (Jan. 6, 2019) in Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, NY.
Born June 10, 1951, in St. Louis, MO, he was a son of Henry W. and Beatrice Embree Hatcher.  On July 9, 1976, in Midwest City, OK, he married Michelle A. Norton, who survives.  They were married 42 years.
Henry was a graduate of Fox High School, Arnold, MO, class of 1969.  He attended Tennessee Temple University, Chattanooga, TN.
Mr. Hatcher was a veteran of the Viet Nam War, having served with the US Air Force.
He was employed with Pittsburgh Corning Co. of Port Allegany, for 18 years, retiring in 2002.
Yogi was a professional clown, entertaining children and adults for 38 years. He made it his life mission to bring smiles and joy, both in and out of costume.
Henry was a founding member, trustee, and lay pastor with the Chestnut Street Baptist Church, Port Allegany. He lived a life dedicated to sharing God’s love and kindness with everyone. His passing leaves a hole in the hearts of many that may not have been related but loved him and were loved by him as family.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Michelle of Roulette, mother Beatrice L. Hatcher of Hillsboro, MO; are three sons, Aaron (Donna) Hatcher of Fenton, MO, Joshua K. (Zoe) Hatcher of Bradford, H. Jacob (Elizabeth) Hatcher of Clinton, OH; two daughters, Michele (Jeff) Linnertz of League City, TX, Angela (Jason) Phillips of Hillsboro, MO; 12 grandchildren, three brothers, Kerry and Mark (Lisa) Hatcher both of Hillsboro, MO, Douglas Hatcher of Festus, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Debbie Wooldridge.
Friends will be received from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday (Jan. 12, 2019) in the Roulette Fire Dept. Social Hall, when a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Doug Cameron, pastor of the Chestnut Street Baptist Church, officiating.
Memorials can be made to the Chestnut Street Baptist Church, or the Roulette Library. The family requests that Yogi be remembered by passing along acts of kindness, smiles, jokes, and love to all those they encounter.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
