Henry K. BLAKE

Henry K. BLAKE, 81, of Gold, PA, died Saturday, January 3, 2015 in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. Born March 11, 1933, in Ulysses, PA, he was the son of Robert O. and Gladys A. Cowburn Blake. On November 10, 1953, in Ulysses, he married the former Dona I. Garner, who survives. He was employed by PennDOT for 29 years. Henry was a member of the Gold Church. Surviving besides his wife, Dona, are: five children, Leonard (Evelyne) Blake of Las Vegas, NV, Cheryl (Albert) Witt of Scio, NY, Melvin (Jacquelyn) Blake of Genesee, PA, Thomas (Kate) Blake of Hornell, NY, and Karen Blake of Olean, NY; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, S. James (Donna) Blake of Lake Worth, FL; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two grandchildren, Jason and Julie; a brother, Robert C. Blake; and a sister, Betty Martin. Friends may call Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday in the Gold Church, Gold, PA.
