Helen M. Ritchey
BRADFORD- Helen M. Ritchey, 74, of Bushnell St., passed away Friday (Jan. 12, 2018) in the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born May 6, 1943, in Coudersport, PA, she was a daughter of Robert and Mildred Perkins Pressler.
She was a lifetime resident of the area and enjoyed putting puzzles together. She enjoyed fishing and hunting when she was younger.
Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn M. Goodreau of Bradford; two sons, Nicholas L. (Diane) Elliott and Lawrence J. Elliott both of Bradford; 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Pressler of Bradford; a sister, Barbara Wilson of York, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, William Elliott, and four sisters, Betty Varney, Margaret Gross, Mildred Brennamen, and Marian Frederick.
At Helen’s request, there will be no visitation, and a private graveside service held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
