Helen F. LYDIC, 86, of Coudersport, PA, died Monday, April 18, 2016 in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, PA.
Born April 18, 1930, in Elmira, NY, she was the daughter of Ellis Paul and Hazel Terry Oldham.
She was married to David B. Lydic, who survives.
Helen was employed by Howard Johnsons at Phillipsburg, NJ, worked as a waitress in Olean, NY, and served as manager of the Coudersport senior center.
She was a member of the Andrews Settlement Baptist Church.
Surviving besides her husband, David, are: two sons, Gary (Jennie) Barchet of Rochester, NY and Kenneth (Sharon) Barchet of Kendall, NY; four grandchildren; family friend, Gloria Marvuglia of Coudersport; and brother-in-law, Carl Lydic of Coudersport. She was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah A. "Debbie" Barchet; a sister, Lois Alley; and two brothers, Robert Oldham and Richard Oldham.
Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, with Funeral and Committal Services following at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Dale Post and Pastor Harold Kiel will co-officiate. Burial will be in Andrews Settlement Cemetery.
