Helen J. LAMPMAN, 93, of Ulysses, PA, died Saturday, December 31, 2016 in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA.
Born May 5, 1923, in Harrison Valley, she was the daughter of Arthur L. and Helena R. Van Pelt Lewis.
On October 26, 1968, in Ulysses, she married Frank Lampman, who predeceased her in 1988.
She was employed as a nurse's aide by Cole Memorial Hospital and operated restaurants in Ulysses for several years. Helen was a member of the Harrison Township Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are: five children, Karen Cook of Harrison Valley, Linda Empson of Ulysses, Elery Jon (Charlinda) Walizer of Pennsdale, PA, Kenneth (Jean) Collins of Ulysses, and Pamela (Kenneth) Padden of Andover, NY; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Howard N. (Mary Lou) Lewis of Coudersport; four step-sons, James Lampman, Gary Lampman, Brian Lampman, and Blaine Lampman; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Helen Hann; a grandson, Scott M. Mack; and four brothers, Richard W. Lewis, William Lewis, Ralph Lewis, and Kenneth Lewis.
Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 2:00 PM. The Rev. Duane Burdick will officiate. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
