Helen W. VAN ETTEN, 77, of Harrison Valley, PA, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014 in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. Born April 14, 1937, in Harrison Valley, she was the daughter of Howard and Onolee F. Kibbe White. On January 14, 1953, in Harrison Valley, she married Elwin R. Van Etten, who survives. She and her husband owned and operated a farm in Harrison Valley for many years. Surviving besides her husband, Elwin, are: seven children, Elwin "Rusty" (Carolyn) Van Etten, II of Ulysses, Carol Sue (Philip) Rounds of Harrison Valley, William H. (Melody) Van Etten of Harrison Valley, Veronica (Joseph) Ciotti of Selinsgrove, PA, Robert E. Van Etten of Mills, Sherry (Brian) Fuhrer of Harrison Valley, and David (Kathy) Van Etten of Wellsville, NY; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Geraldine Bassney of Tioga, PA and Ruth Peters of Corning, NY; two sisters-in-law, Barbara White of Harrison Valley and Kathy White of Virginia Beach, VA; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Russell L. Van Etten; and three brothers, Howard White, Jr., Thomas G. White, and W. Harold White. Friends may call Friday, May 30, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
