Geraldine "Gerri" POTOCEK

Geraldine T. “Gerri” POTOCEK, 88, of Coudersport, PA, died Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.

Born March 25, 1933, in Coudersport, she was the daughter of Gerald and Gertrude Pendell Thomas.  On May 26, 1951, in Coudersport, she married Robert F. Potocek, who predeceased her on January 2, 2012.  Mrs. Potocek and her husband resided in Summerville, SC for 30 years.

Surviving are:  three children, Diane (Jerry) Austin of Shelby, NC, Cindy (Richard) Speroni of Salamanca, NY, and Mark Robert (Shawn) Potocek of Ladson, SC;  five grandchildren;  nine great-grandchildren;  a sister, Sandra (William) Krous of Coudersport;  nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two daughters, Barbara Lynn Potocek and Carolyn A. Berfield;  a granddaughter, Carrie Ann Austin;  and two sisters, Earline Wyatt and Raymah Fraley.

The family will hold a private time of remembrance.  Burial will be in Eulalia Cemetery, Coudersport.
