Gerald Lee BREIDING

Gerald Lee BREIDING, 73, of Howe, IN, died Saturday, December 18, 2021 in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN.

Born May 10, 1948, in Belmont, NY, he was the son of John and Agnes Stark Breiding.  Jerry resided in Sturgis and Howe, Indiana since 1998.  On June 23, 1999, in Sturgis, he married Trudy Robinson, who predeceased him on November 24, 2020.  Jerry was an over the road truck driver by trade.  He also had worked as a dairy farm manager, steel hanger, heavy equipment operator, and in the construction industry.  Jerry was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War earning the rank of E-2.  He was a member of LaGrange American Legion.

He is survived by several brothers and sisters including Bonnie Glass of Lexington, KY.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Ann Breiding.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, July 8, 2022 in Fairlawn Cemetery, Scio, NY.  Military Rites will be accorded by members of Morrison B. Hayes American Legion Post #702.
