George GRABER

George GRABER, 78, of Wellsboro, PA, formerly of Sunderlinville and Philadelphia, PA, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. Born July 17, 1936, in Los Angeles, CA, he was the son of A.C. and Alva Winters Graber. A US Army Veteran, he served honorably from 1953 - 1956. On August 22, 1958, in Oakford, PA, he married the former Margaret J. "Peg" Roberts, who predeceased him on August 21, 2013. He was employed as a machinist by the U.S. Mint, retiring in 1979. George was a taxicab driver in Philadelphia for 25 years, retiring as the owner and operator of Kensington Cab Co. Surviving are: seven children, James (Karen) Roberts of Mt. Laurel, NJ, George Graeber of Cherry Hill, NJ, Debra Ann (Julio Rodriguez) Graber of Wellsboro, PA, Jacqueline (James) Hernandez of Gaines, PA, William Graber of Ft. Washington, PA, Frank (Annette) Graber of Bensalem, PA, and Gerald (Teresa) Graber of Philadelphia, PA; 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his step-mother, Jacqueline Graber; a sister; and five brothers. Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 3:00 PM. The Rev. Marty Zdrojewski will officiate. Burial will be in Parker Hill Cemetery, Sunderlinville. Military Rites will be accorded by members of the Potter County Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to Carl E.
