George Ronald "Ron" BLAIR

George Ronald "Ron" BLAIR, 70, of Coudersport, PA, died Saturday, March 2, 2013 in the Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. Born August 6, 1942, in Wilkinsburg, PA, he was the son of George S. and Rita Mary O'Brien Blair. A US Army Veteran, he served honorably from 1964 - 1966. On September 27, 1975, at St. Bonaventure, Olean, NY, he married the former Susan J. Conners, who survives. Ron was employed as Director of Purchasing by Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport for 32 years, retiring in 2005. He was a member of St. Eulalia Catholic Church in Coudersport. Surviving besides his wife, Susan, are: two daughters, Danielle Blair of Saxonburg, PA and Erin Blair of Pittsburgh, PA; a brother, Terrance (Yvonne) Blair of Norwin, PA; his mother-in-law, Eva R. Conners of Coudersport; two aunts, Lavonne (Robert deceased) Blair of Genesee, PA and Betty (Robert deceased) Ramsey of Pittsburgh, PA; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents. Friends may call at St. Eulalia Catholic Church, Coudersport on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 9:30 - 11:00 AM, with a Memorial Mass celebrated 11:00 AM. The Rev. Joseph V. Dougherty will be the Celebrant. Military Rites will be accorded by members of the Potter County Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Patterson Cancer Center, c/o Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA 16915 or a charity of the donor's choice.
