Gary L. PAINTER

Gary L. PAINTER, 59, of North Fork, PA, died Sunday, December 21, 2014 in Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. He was born May 30, 1955 in Blossburg, PA. A 1974 graduate of Northern Potter High School, he was employed by Dresser-Rand in Painted Post, NY. Surviving are: two daughters, Samantha (Derek) Stevens of Wellsboro and Misty (Matt Burrell) Painter of North Fork; four grandchildren, Ali "Albert", Owen, Liam, and Lorelei; his mother, Elizabeth M. Painter of Wellsville, NY; his fiance, Margaret Huggins of North Fork; three brothers, Danny Painter of Jamestown, NY, Lee Painter of Great Falls, SC, and Ronnie (Karen) Painter of Wellsville, NY; two sisters, Cathy (Stephen, Sr.) Foster of Wellsville, NY and Cindy (Larry, Sr.) Hurler of North Fork, PA; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Lee E. Painter; and a favorite uncle, Byron Kio. Friends may call Friday, December 26, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA and on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon, with Funeral Services following at 12:00 Noon. Rev. Duane Burdick will officiate. Burial will be in Genesee Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family for an education fund for Gary's grandchildren.
