Forest G. "Buck" PAUL

Forest G. "Buck" PAUL, 84, of Galeton, PA, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in his home. Born January 29, 1928, in South Branch, Galeton, he was the son of Jacob and Addie Button Paul. He was married to the former Shirley Foley, who survives. Buck was employed as an electrician by Ingersoll-Rand and Dresser-Rand in Painted Post, NY for 33 years, retiring in 1990. Surviving besides his wife, Shirley, are: three sons, Gary (Sheila) Paul, Brian "Butch" (Penny) Paul, and Kevin (Jody) Paul, all of Galeton; a daughter, Lori (Robert) Lehman of Galeton; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Bessie) Paul of Sanborn, NY; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Ernest; and three sisters, Ella Paul, Dorothy Paul, and Florence Bigelow. Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 2:00 PM. The Rev. John Prouty will officiate. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery, Galeton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gale Hose Ambulance or the Goodyear Hose Company, Galeton, PA 16922.
