Erma was a 1955 graduate of Wellsville High School. Upon graduation she entered the workforce, starting her career in the textile industry at Wellsville Glove Factory; later she continued on in her career with the Marion-Rohr Corporation in Hornell. Outside of work, she was a very quiet person who loved to get her hands dirty in her flower and vegetable gardens. Not only was she an animal lover, but also someone who loved to cook and bake for her friends and family.
She is survived by: two sisters, Connie Mills of Wellsville, and Ann Gee of Wellsville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by: a sister, Audrey Miller; and 3 brothers-in-law, Elwood Miller, Bob Gee, and David “Red” Mills.
Friends and family are invited to a graveside memorial service on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Woodlawn Cemetery (276 S. Main Street) with Reverend Dr. Karen Heil Borchert presiding.
