Eric E. TRIMBLE, 60, of Wellsville, NY, died Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville.
Born April 7, 1961, in Meadville, PA, he was the son of Robert L. and Nancy E. Bartlett Trimble. On June 18, 1988, in Wellsville, he married the former Penny S. Mead, who survives.
A 1979 graduate of Pueblo Alto High School in Tucson, AZ, he was employed by Pizza King, Ludden Reality, Fleet Bank, Wells Fargo, Wellsville Ford, Bokman of Wellsville, and Arkport Cycles.
Eric was a member of the Reinforcements Motorcycle Club, Allegany and Cattaraugus Board of Realtors, life member of BASS, past member of the Elks Club and the Moose, the Wellsville Country Club, and served as coach for Wellsville Little League and Wellsville Midget Football, where he also served as Vice-President. Eric loved to ride his motorcycle, play golf, fish, hunt, cook, and most of all be with family and friends.
Surviving besides his wife, Penny, are: two sons, Levi (Katherine Schaefer) Trimble of Buffalo and Matthew (Kimberly Gray) Trimble of Columbia, SC; two grandsons, Liam Joseph Schaefer Trimble and Charles Michael Schaefer Trimble; a brother, Rob (Sue) Trimble of Rexville; a sister, Brenda Trimble of Akron, OH; three step-brothers Mark Eberwein, Andy Eberwein and Dean Eberwein, all of Altoona, PA; an aunt, Carol (John) Roberts of Newark, CA; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Nancy E. Eberwein; and his father, Robert L. Trimble.
A gathering to celebrate Eric’s life will be held Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Wellsville American Legion starting at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cattaraugus County Veteran Services, (for Cattaraugus-Allegany Joint Veterans Council Volunteer Van Service), 1 Leo Moss Drive, Suite 6510, Olean, New York 14760.
