Eric Carl ERWAY

Eric Carl ERWAY, 49, of Wellsville, NY, formerly of Ulysses, PA, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 31, 2014 in his home. Born February 1, 1965, in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of Carl and Diane Elickson Erway. A 1983 graduate of Northern Potter High School, he earned an avionics degree from the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics and a bachelor of engineering degree from Alfred State College. He was employed by Alstom in Henrietta, NY. Eric was an avid Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and New England Patriots fan. Surviving are: his parents, Carl and Diane Erway of Ulysses, PA; a son, Vincent M. Erway of Wellsville; a daughter, Grace K. Erway of Wellsville; fianc�©e, Linda Militello of Derby, NY; two sisters, Denise (Kevin) Walaski of Ulysses and Sandy (Matthew) Page of Spencer, MA; a brother, Brett Erway of Ravenna, OH; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends may call Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday in the Gold Church, 35 SR 449 North , Gold, PA. Rev. Frank Mickle will officiate.
