Edna Elliss Buck
PORT ALLEGANY- Edna M. Elliss Buck, 68, of Foster Circle, passed away Thursday (Aug. 5, 2021) in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.
Born October 4, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of William and Lillian Goodman Elliss. On Feb. 15, 1986, in Philadelphia, she married Robert Buck, who survives.
Edna was a resident of the area for 8 years, coming from Philadelphia.
She was an avid crafter and enjoyed playing Pennsylvania Lotto, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Robert, are a son, Robert (Christine) Buck, Jr. of Coudersport; a granddaughter, two great-grandchildren; a brother, Osceola O. (Paula) Elliss of Jacksonville, NC; and a sister, Lillian “Rusty” (Chuck) Howard of Plymouth, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Brian M. Buck; a brother, Joseph M. Elliss; and two sisters, Rosemary Elliss and Ruth Ann Donnelly.
At Edna’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
