Edith F. "Edie" TWEEDIE, 81, of Ulysses Township, Genesee, PA, died Saturday, March 2, 2019 in UPMC Cole, Coudersport, PA.
Born November 3, 1937, in Bryn Mawr, she was the daughter of John Joseph and Frances Cecilia Mullen Leflar.
On August 25, 1956, in St. Matthews Church, Conshohocken, she married William D. Tweedie, who survives.
Edie owned and operated a restaurant for many years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of the H.U.G. Senior Center in Ulysses.
Surviving besides her husband, Bill, are: two sons, William (Robyn) Tweedie of Sarasota, FL and Ralph (Caron Peruccio) Tweedie of Genesee; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Leflar; two sisters, Janice Hampton and Joann Conicelli; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, John Tweedie; a granddaughter, Jessica Tweedie Lloyd; and two brothers, John Joseph Leflar, Jr. and George Leflar.
Services will be private.
