Earnestine H. WILLIAMS

Earnestine H. WILLIAMS, 76, of Eldred, PA, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in the Olean General Hospital, Olean, NY. Born February 9, 1939, in Ulysses, PA, she was the daughter of Earnest and Ethel Trimm Briggs. On July 7, 1955, in Shinglehouse, PA, she married John J. Williams, who predeceased her on February 2, 2000. Earnestine was a member of the Olean Seventh-day Adventist Church. She served as a volunteer with the Eldred Township Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are: four children, John J. Williams, Jr. of Eldred, Malvina L. Williams of Eldred, Harry W. Williams of Stroh, IN, and Joseph B. Williams of Eldred; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ernest Briggs and Albert Baker, both of NC, and Charles Baker of Hornell, NY; two sisters, Cecelia Jean Tompson of Smethport, PA and Beatrice Johanson of NC; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her step-father, Albert Baker; a daughter, Ruth Elaine Williams; a sister, Waneta M. Snyder; and two brothers, Billy Baker and Maynard Baker. Friends may call Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM.
