Wellsville, NY - Earl D. Miller of 295 West State Street passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Charles Cole Hospital in Coudersport, PA. He was born on February 16, 1930 in Eden to Raymond and Viola Reed Miller. He was predeceased by his wife Virginia Calhoun Miller.
Earl was the owner of Valley Perennials in East Otto and later moved to the Wellsville area to live with his daughter, Lois Miller.
Survivors include: 2 sons, Jeff (Patty) Miller of Amherst and Tom (Deb) Miller of Alden; a daughter, Lois Miller of Wellsville; 5 grandchildren, Danielle, Matt, Doug, Susie and Kellie; 2 brothers, Bob Miller of California and Jim (Joan) Miller of Eden; 2 sisters, Connie (Bill) Newton of Eden and Shirley (Leo) Dumont of Kansas; a sister in law, Betty Miller of Eden; several nieces and nephews; his best friend Sammy. He was predeceased by his wife Virginia and a brother Calvin.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday March 19, 2011 at 12 noon in the St. John's Community Church, 2871 East Church Street, Eden, New York with a reception to follow at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Allegany County SPCA. Arrangements are under the direction of the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home in Wellsville.
