Dwight Peter "Pete" VAN DRUFF

Dwight Peter “Pete” VAN DRUFF, 68, of Wellsville, NY, died Friday, November 26, 2021 in Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Wellsville.

Born May 28, 1953, in Wellsville, he was the son of Albert F. and Alice A. Cole Van Druff.  On September 5, 1992, in Hallsport, he married the former Carol A. Slocum, who survives.  A graduate of Wellsville High School, he served honorably with the US Army from 1977 – 1983.  He was employed as a truck driver by LaForge, LC Whitford, and most recently by Brandes Farms.

Surviving besides his wife of 29 years, Carol, are:  three brothers, Albert Van Druff Jr. of California, Roger (Constance) Van Druff of Kenmore, and DuWayne Van Druff of Wolfsburg, NH;  two sisters, Nancy (Wayne) Kleinsteuber of Ontario, CA and Stephanie Van Druff of Wellsville;  a sister-in-law, Susie Groover of Westfield;  a brother-in-law, Robert (Cindy) Slocum of Alma;  nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Gerald Van Druff and Stephen “Fred” Van Druff.

Friends may call at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Cremation, Crowell Chapel, 296 North Main Street, Wellsville on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, with a Memorial Service following at 11:00 AM.  Rev. John Francisco will officiate.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville.
