Dwight “Dale” Ellinger
ROULETTE- Dwight “Dale” Ellinger, 80, of Hester Ave., passed away Sunday (Apr. 24, 2011) at his home after a lengthy illness.
Born Nov. 8, 1930, in Dubois, PA, he was a son of Burr B. and Hilda Delp Ellinger. On July 9, 1955, in Parrisburg, VA, he married Norma J. Pitts, who survives.
Mr. Ellinger had been a heavy equipment mechanic for many years working in both Pennsylvania and Arizona before his retirement.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, have served in the US Army.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Norma is a granddaughter, Michelle Cross.
There will be no visitation. A memorial and committal service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorials can be made to the Potter County Hospice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
