PORT ALLEGANY- Dorothy J. Rhinehart, 46, of Upper Grimes Rd., passed away Friday (Feb. 4, 2022) in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.

Born July 29, 1975, in Port Allegany, she was a daughter of Paul R. Bennett and Mary E. Rhinehart.

Dorothy was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of Port Allegany High School, class of 1993.

She liked to read, crochet, and travel.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Mary Rhinehart of Coudersport, and longtime companion, Shelley Carpenter, of Port Allegany, are three brothers, Robert Gummo, and Thomas (Barbara Hoffman) Bennett, both of Roulette, and James Rhinehart of Coudersport; three nephews: Dakota Gummo, Paul Bennett, and Drayvixxx Hill, and four nieces: Sierra Gummo, Alexsis and Aliyah Bennett, and Alayna Rhinehart.

She was preceded in death by her father Paul R. Bennett.

There will be a celebration of life held later at a time & date to be announced.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
