Dorothy M. GRIESEMER

Dorothy M. GRIESEMER, 80, of Ravenel, SC, formerly of Olean, NY, Ulysses, PA, and Boyertown, PA died Sunday, June 14, 2015 in Roper St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, SC. Born March 18, 1935, in Amityville, PA, she was the daughter of Harry and Katherine Kline Reifsnyder. On November 23, 1953, in Oley, PA, she married Roland M. Griesemer, who predeceased her on December 20, 2010. A graduate of Amityville High School, Dorothy assisted her husband in his dental practices in Boyertown for 15 years and Galeton for 15 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Galeton, Susquehannock Trail Club, and the Harrison-Ulysses-Genesee Senior Center. Surviving are: three daughters, Joy (Stefan) Strunk of Oley, PA, Kim (Gerald) Foster of Galeton, PA, and Michelle (Tracy Pilon) Copenhaver of Ravenel, SC; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother Harry Reifsnyder, Jr.; and a sister, Mary Schweitzer. A Memorial Service will be announced by the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
