Donna E. DIXON, 73, of Wellsville, NY, died Thursday, September 6, 2018 in Hart Comfort House, Wellsville.
Born May 30, 1945, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Newell and Helen Marsh Potter.
On September 14, 1963, in Greenwood, she married Charles D. Dixon, who predeceased her on August 2, 2001.
She was employed by Lester Chevrolet and Funland. Donna was a member of the Community of Christ in Greenwood and the Fire Department Auxiliary in Wellsville. She loved listening to music at the VFW and American Legion, crocheting, knitting, ceramics, crafts, and playing cards. Donna was well known as an excellent pie baker.
Surviving are: two children, Lynn (Connie) Dixon of Wellsville and Helen (Joel) Evans of Angelica; five grandsons, Sean (Siobhan) Dixon, Michael Evans, Bryan Evans, James Dixon, and Brodyn Evans; a sister, Mary (Fred) Gates of Scio; a cousin, Tommy Davis ; goddaughter, Kristen Loeffler Tower; her step-mother, Betty Potter; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home, Wellsville on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 2:00 PM. Elder Terry Smith and Elder Richard Warriner will preside. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville.
