Donald E. TILTON, Jr.

Donald E. TILTON, Jr., 71, of Ulysses, PA, died Wednesday, January 22, 2025 in his home. 

Born December 8, 1953, in Bath, NY, he was the son of Donald Edward and Madeline Hurlburt Tilton. On December 31, 1974, in Prattsburgh, NY, he married Katheleen M. Hand, who predeceased him on February 8, 2020. A graduate of Prattsburgh Central School, he attended truck driving school. In addition to driving truck, he worked as a certified nurse’s aide and did architectural drafting. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church and the Ulysses Area Improvement Association. 

Surviving are: his mother, Madeline Tilton of Prattsburgh, NY; three children, Christian (Genny) Tilton of Coudersport, Tonya Peet of Knoxville, and Eric Tilton of Eden, NY; several grandchildren; three brothers, Michael Tilton of Bath, NY, Roger (Sue) Tilton of Lakeland, FL, and Scott (Sabrina) Tilton of Prattsburgh; a sister, Beverly (Keith) Rankin of Marion, IL; nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his father; his son-in-law, Robert Peet; and two grandsons, Jacob Tilton and Andrew Peet.

A graveside service will be held in Ulysses Cemetery on a later date.
