Deloras M. “Dee” AHEARN, 89, of Colesburg, PA, died Sunday, August 14, 2022 in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.
Born October 23, 1932, in Galeton, she was the daughter of Russell and Margaret Dice Lattin. On January 28, 1950, in Coudersport, she married Paul N. Ahearn, who predeceased her on November 4, 2015. A graduate of Coudersport High School, she was employed as a private duty caregiver and at area nursing homes. Deloras was a member of St. Eulalia Catholic Church, Coudersport. She loved to read, paint crafts, and play games. Family meant everything to her and was the most important part of her life.
Surviving are: seven children, twins Judith M. Stanley of Osceola and Jerald R. Ahearn of Coudersport, Nicholas P. (Pam) Ahearn of AZ, Timothy J. Ahearn of Coudersport, William P. (Gaila) Ahearn of Quarryville, Cynthia (Kenny) Magnuson of Lake Charles, LA, and Gene L. Ahearn of Coudersport; twenty grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; friend and former exchange student, Jorg Mayer of Dublin, Ireland; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two granddaughters, Deborah Stanley and Twila Waseman; two daughters-in-law, Nancy Ahearn and Jan Ahearn; a son-in-law, Roger Stanley; and two brothers, William Lattin and Robert E. Lattin.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA. Rev. Dan Hoffman will preside.
