Delia M. McCUTCHEON, 81, of Westfield, PA, died Sunday, July 24, 2022 in Genesee Township.
Born March 6, 1941, in Hornell, NY, she was the daughter of Raymond and Berdina Cranmer Hill. At age 3, after the death of her mother, she was raised by Fred and Agnes Costello.
On August 29, 1959, in Harrison Valley, she married Harold G. “Stub” McCutcheon, who survives. A graduate of Northern Potter High School, she and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm in Harrison Valley for many years. Delia was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Westfield and the Harrison Valley Firemen’s Auxiliary. Centered around family, she loved taking walks with her grandchildren, visiting Lamoka Lake in Tyrone, NY, and making quilts for everyone. She enjoyed her flower beds and hummingbirds.
Surviving besides her husband, Stub, are: four children, Ann (Phil) Clark of Gold, Vicki (Blaine) Becker, Bruce D. McCutcheon, and Randall L. (Bernice) McCutcheon, all of Harrison Valley; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, John (Kay) Hill of Westfield; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Tina McCutcheon; and a grandson, RJ McCutcheon.
Friends may call at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 2:00 PM. Rev. Joseph V. Dougherty will preside. Burial will be in Whites Corners Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
