Debra L. WHITE, 62, of Friendship NY, died Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
Born August 30, 1959, in Buffalo, she was the daughter of Donald and Maryann Staszczyk White. In September of 1975, she married Michael Paler, who predeceased her. A 1977 graduate of South Park High School, Buffalo, she was employed by the Buffalo Police Department as a crossing guard. Debra was a woman of faith. She enjoyed reading, hunting, gardening, quilting, professional and college football, and spending time with her grandchildren. She dedicated many years as caregiver for her brother, Donald, until he was recently placed in a nursing home.
Surviving are: a son, Michael (Julie) Paler of Colorado Springs, CO; a daughter, Heather (Peter) Paler-Thompson of Dansville; two grandchildren, Emma Thibodeau and Peter Thompson II; four siblings, Denise Jarzyniecki of Akron, Donald R. White of Cuba, David (Sandra) White of Ellicotville, and Darren (Glory) White of Elma; a brother-in-law, Gerald Kokotajlo of Buffalo; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Robert Martin; a sister, Donna Kokotajlo; and a brother-in-law, Edward Jarzyniecki.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Windom Community Church, 3766 Abbott Road, Orchard Park, NY 14127. A reception will follow.
