David C. Meacham
ROULETTE- David C. Meacham, 60, of Fishing Creek Rd. passed away Thursday (Feb. 28, 2013) peacefully in his home, with his family by his side.
Born July 30, 1952, in Port Allegany, he was a son of Corwin R. and Lorna J. Simar Meacham. On Feb. 19, 1977, in Port Allegany, he married Adah F. Miles, who survives.
David was employed by Port TV Cable Co., Adelphia Cable Co., and most recently Zito Media, before his illness.
He was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of the Port Allegany High School, Class of 1970.
Mr. Meacham was an active member of the First Baptist Church, Port Allegany. He loved his Lord, family, friends, camping, swimming & weight lifting.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Adah, are a son, Todd D. (Linda) Meacham of Wellsboro, PA; two daughters, Amy L. (Daniel) Thompson of Elma, NY, Tami S. (Adam) Muntain of Surprise, AZ; seven grandchildren, David and Steven Meacham, Nathan and Benjamin Thompson, Kayla and Hayley Robins, and Gabriella Muntain; and two sisters, Candace J. (Scott) Cornell and Nancy J. (Dallas) Kio both of Port Allegany; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, John D. Meacham.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany. A celebration of David’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday (Mar. 4, 2013) in the First Baptist Church, with Rev. Michael Culver, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany.
