David L. ANGOOD

David L. ANGOOD, 72, of Ulysses, PA, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.

Born February 16, 1949, in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of Almon L. and Lois E. Dence Angood.  On September 6, 1969, in West Bingham, he married the former Lorraine Hamilton, who survives.  A 1967 graduate of Northern Potter High School, he was an artificial inseminator for Curtis Breeders after school.  He then was a dairy farmer for 55 years and hauled many cattle for 35 years.  David was a member of the PA Holstein Association.  He and his family showed animals at the Potter County Fair for 48 years.  He loved his family and was very proud of them.

Surviving besides his wife, Lorraine, are:  four children, John (Sheila) Angood of Tyrone, Lorie Thompson of Sykesville, Jeff (Becky) Angood of Nampa, ID, Lynn Harmon of Ulysses;  seven grandchildren, Julie, Amanda, Lillian, Gracie, Elizabeth, Nicholas, and Thomas;  a great-grandson, Julius;  three sisters, Kathy Zoeller of Boise, ID, Nancy Cranston of Boise, ID, and Theresa Fortney of Carthage, NC;  nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA. Rev. Donald N. Miller will officiate.  Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
