Dale C. Connelly
ROULETTE- Dale C. Connelly, 75, of Burleson Ave., passed away Friday (Oct. 30, 2015) at his home.
Born October 27, 1940, in Roulette, he was a son of Cornie T. and Rose Lyman Connelly. On Aug. 22, 1959, in Roulette, he married Judy E. Day, who died Oct. 27, 2009. They were married 50 years.
Dale had worked for Pittsburgh Corning Co. of Port Allegany, Brown Excavating of Roulette, and was an over the road truck driver before retiring.
He was a lifetime resident of the area and a former member of the Roulette Fire Department.
Surviving are six sons, Donald D. (Kim) Connelly and Darren L. Connelly both of Port Allegany, Darrell D. (Sandy) Connelly and Drexel T. Connelly both of Roulette, Dale C. (Cindy) Connelly, II of Olean, NY and Dana A. (Rhonda) Connelly of Pageland, SC; two daughters, Darlene R. Dixon of Erie, PA, and Clarissa R. Connelly of Philadelphia, PA; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grand-children; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Judy, and four sisters, baby twin sister, Erma Fillhart, Madeline Tingley, Agnes Hoffman.
Friends will be received from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 5, 2015) in the Roulette Fire Hall, where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. H.D. Youngblood, Jr. officiating.
Memorials can be made in honor of Dale Connelly and given to the family at the service.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
