Clark Edward CROWELL, 71, of Gaines, PA, passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 in the Gatehouse Hospice Unit, Williamsport, PA. Born April 3, 1941, in Coudersport, PA, he was the son of Clark A. and Cleopha Carpenter Crowell. A US Army Veteran, he served honorably from 1960 - 1962. He was employed as a truck driver by Ulysses Lumber and GTE Osram Sylvania in Wellsboro. He was the attended the Pine Creek Valley United Methodist Church in Gaines. Surviving are: his mother, Cleopha Crowell of Galeton, PA; a son, Wesley (Penny) Crowell of Wellsboro, PA; three daughters, Rhea (Kevin Doud) Beacker of Ulysses, PA, Christine Crowell of Mansfield, PA, and Erin Crowell of Mainesburg, PA; four grandchildren, Ashlynn Beacker, Adam Beacker, Hunter Crowell, and Macey Crowell; two sisters, Joan Fleming of Brooklyn, NY and Joyce Crowell of Littlerock, CA; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his first wife, Joanne Hosley Cole, on December 2, 2011. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 27, 2012 in the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. The Rev. John Knudson will officiate. Military Rites will be accorded by members of the Potter County Honor Guard. Burial will be in Raymond Cemetery, Allegany Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to House of Care, 100 N.
